Um.... I'm wondering for question b), because the number 76 is already inside the pattern, if it was extended it would still be inside the pattern, correct? Well if its already inside the pattern, and its extended, what exactly are we supposed to do, are we supposed see if it works with multiple different patterns, or are we supposed to do something different?
How is the number 76 already inside the pattern? Please clarify. The blue coloured squares represent the pattern. The pattern is not extended to include 76. If you were to continue the pattern with the blue coloured squares would 76 be part of that pattern? Does this help?
