A Better Way to Divide: Short Division - Review
Watch the above video clip. What is the difference between this short division and the way you have been doing short division in class? Do you like short division or long division better? Explain why. (Post your answers.)
1. She is doing it the exsact way I do it, so maybe I didn't do it the same way as everyone else? I probably did because I didn't get long/short division at first, so I asked my mom to help me, and that's how we do it.
ReplyDelete2. I prefer long division because then I don't make mistakes, and I think it is a more easier way of doing it, I just rather write things down then doing it in my head, but I am capable of both ways.
1. The sort division that she is showing us is the exact way Mrs. O' Hara showed me in class.
ReplyDelete2. I enjoy long division because I actually do it faster and it's easier because I have been doing it longer. I am ok doing division in my head but writing the numbers down and seeing my work is a lot more clear for me.
1. The difference is she is putting the nunmber on the top but when we do short division it is usually on the bottom!!! :D

I also like long didvision because I cansee my work instead o fdoing it in my head which is much easier for me!
