3. Watch the video below.  Answer the following questions:

1. Why is 360 degrees chosen as the measure of a full circle? Give two reasons from the video.
2. What angle do the hands of a clock make at 4:00?
3. Name the four types of angles demonstrated in the video (include the degrees).
4. Tell me one more thing you learned from the video.

I learned why we use 360° instead of something like 100°, or 50°.
The reasons are, because we deal with the angles, 60°, and 45° so much, and those are 1 sixth of the way around (60°) and 1 eighth of the way around (40°). You also “can’t divide 100 by six, or by eight, and get an integer.”

    That is all.

Thank you, thank you very much.

  2. One more thing that I learned from the video is that the angle between each number on a clock is 30 degrees. This will probably come in useful in future word problems.

  3. I meant "this will probably be useful."

  6. 4. A thing I learned from the video, is that in between two numbers in a clock is 30 degrees, so in between 4 and 5 for example, it is 30 degrees, and in between 4 and 6 its 60 degrees.

  7. One thing that I learned from this video is the reason that 360 is used as a full turn and not a number we see a lot like 100 or 250 because they cannot be divided by 6, 8, and 3 for example, but 360 can, and that’s one thing that I learned. ~Lucas

  8. Hi Ronan,
You need to check your answer regarding the 360 degree question. Please repost.

  9. 4. Tell me one more thing you learned from the video.

I learned that the difference in the numbers on a clock are 30° each. Before I thought measuring the hands on a clock was hard, but with that information it is really easy.

  10. I learned how to measure the difference between every combination of the clocks hands, because each hand is 30 degrees.
